This year, once again Paul Kane School in St Albert raised funds to support soldiers and their families. The Helping Heroes Program has raised over $5800 since its inception in 2014. This year’s team, Tate Clifford, Nicholas Silver (presenting the cheque), Caleb Sorenson and Matt Belsham are all grade 12 students that have done this for the last two years.
They exemplify their motto – “You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give!!”
Here the team presents a cheque for over $1600 to the PPCLI Foundations representative, Malcolm Bruce.
The PPCLI Foundation is deeply affected by the work of students to support Canada’s soldiers.
