Reaching the Summit for Mental Health and Wellness – 2017

Mount Farquhar (the peak to the left) will be the location of our 2017 event. Mt Farquhar was named in 1919 to honour them memory of Lt.-Col. Francis D. Farquhar, founding commanding officer of PPCLI. Farquhar was killed in action on 20 March 1915 during a relief operation. The event will stage at the Cataract Creek Recreation Area on Highway 940 southwest of Longview. Access to the summit is via the Cataract Plateau shown on the left of the photo. Mt Farquhar, situated astride the BC Alberta border on the contintental divide is a beautiful part of the world. To follow the development of our plans for the 2017. "Like" us on Facebook.
